PaperCut client stopped connecting to the server after upgrading to macOS 15 (Sequoia) or later.

The Cause 

The PaperCut client stopped connecting to the PaperCut server after upgrading to macOS 15 (Sequoia) or later. 

The Resolution

Newly introduced privacy features in Sequoia prevents PPClient.app from allowing network access. 

Enable local network access for PPClient using the steps below.

1. Click on System Settings

2. Click on Privacy and Security

3. Click on Local Network

4. Enable network access for PPClient 

5. You may have to reboot the mac to complete the access.
